Zucchini Lasagna

Slice the zucchini thinly lengthwise.

Season the ricotta with garlic powder and salt.

Sauté the onion, then cook the ground beef if using, and stir in the sauce.

Spread a thin layer of sauce in a casserole dish and layer zucchini, ricotta, more sauce, and mozzarella.

Repeat the layers two more times and finish with mozzarella and parmesan.

Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes until golden. Broil briefly if you want a crisp top.
Notes
- Let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
