Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Pat the drumsticks dry.

Toss the chicken, potatoes, and onion with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Spread everything on a sheet pan in a single layer, skin side up.

Roast for 40 to 50 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are golden.
